Hungry Doe Kathy and I were at the cabin January 16 and this doe came right up to the little picnic area and started munching on ponderosa needles. She really isn't standing on the post, just appears that way. Her front legs are on the flagstone bench giving her a little more reach. Greg

Annual Cabin Clean-up We will be having our annual cabin clean-up on Saturday, May 15. If you are able to come and help, it would be wonderful. We usually do a good clean-up of the inside (floors, windows, cabinets, etc.) and on the outside (gutters, raking needles away from the foundation, etc.). I'll send out details later on, but we will probably start around 9:30 a.m. and have everyone bring a sack lunch/picnic lunch. I always have the coffee on and several of us bring rolls or donuts to start the day off. We always have a lot of fun--Paul and Bob always seem to have something happen to them--like red paint on a shaved head. So plan to join us for a day of laughter, family fun, and a little (well, maybe a lot) of work in between. Love to you all, Donna |

Larry Gets His Bear Larry Pedersen harvested this black bear (brown color phase) on 10/7/2009 on the Bosque Del Oso (Woods of the Bear) about 30 miles west of Trinidad, CO with his 300SM. Took him and his taxidermist a couple of hours to comb out the cockleburrs in his fur (the bear's, that is).

| Lake Powell Vacation Some of us could not make it to the Reunion this year. That was disappointing, but a trip to Lake Powell was very fun, too. Those family members on this trip: Deb and John Devore and kids, Larry and Shirley Pedersen, Michelle and Jeremy Harrigan, Kris and Bob Devore and kids, Greg and Kathy Pedersen, and then some other friends and family totaling 24. Karyn did a great job with Kyle's wedding story for the website - a great short (or long) story included with pictures makes for interesting reading. Karyn included notes about Gordon's limo and Jamie's gown. |

The Family Advisory Committee has come up with a different process for reserving the "Cabin". If you want to reserve it, you will first look at the calendar posted on this website to check for availability. If the date you want is open, you will then call the family member responsible for that month. The instructions are listed on the bottom of the month you have opened and includes the name of the person you will call or email to make your request. |
